This comprehensive training course includes information from eligibility through processing and closing. Who is CHFA? CHFA Approved Lenders Rates and Resources Eligibility Homebuyer Programs & Education Downpayment Assistance Program Virtual Classroom Virtual Classroom Rita Bellinger Rita has over 35 years of experience working in the mortgage industry. She joined CHFA in 2014 as a Marketing Coordinator for Single Family and now holds the position of Business Officer III Training. Rita has worked on CHFA loans throughout her career providing support and training to mortgage professionals that work for national lenders, local banks and mortgage companies. Rita is responsible for developing and implementing training initiatives for CHFA that include teaching a continuing education class for real estate agents throughout the state. She is a designated liaison for CHFA Single Family responding to inquiries from the public and lenders as they relate to CHFA mortgage loan programs, products and services. Rita represents CHFA as an active member of the Connecticut Mortgage Bankers Affordable Housing Committee and the Military Community Coalition. Prior to joining CHFA, Rita was the Mortgage Specialist for USDA/ Rural Development for 13 years. 48-hour notice required to cancel course and receive a refund or transfer to another. There is a $10 admin fee to transfer from one course to another. School policy suggests that you log in 15 minutes prior to the start time of class to ensure technical compliance. No one will be admitted after the start time. For Virtual Classes, even though classes are not taking place in person, you are still entering a classroom setting and should treat it as such. If for any reason you are unable to participate for the full 3 hours, you will not receive credit for the class.NO SHOWS will forfeit their payment/Free CE Certificate.
